In respect of a Martian colony ... No individual can permanently leave this Earth until they earn their Initiation of Ascension through many lives of service to mankind. Any colonist dying on Mars would find themselves back on the Astral Realms of Earth. We can visit other places out there, but we cannot stay. Only by becoming an Ascended Master can we gain true Cosmic Freedom. Read the book THE NINE FREEDOMS and it will explain this in detail.

So they are just doing this for framers? BS they are saying this while they cover the globe with satellites, they could make every internet and mobile phone provider obsolete. He could even make is own block chain internet making the likes of google obsolete, or at least charge every company billions to use the system.

I will note that Starlink's super low orbital plane makes a Kessler Syndrome event downright negligible. Any collision that happened would leave debris that deorbits just as quickly as the satellites themselves can.

The idea of a satellite colliding with space junk, producing more space junk that collides with more satellites, in a self-reinforcing cycle -- that doesn't work in orbits low enough that there's appreciable drag from the tiny bit of air. Smaller pieces have more area relative to their mass, so they fall faster. Starlink satellites are designed for ongoing improvement via fast turnover, which in turn is made possible by launch costs an order of magnitude lower than previous launch systems. They orbit at heights where they can only last a few years, and small debris would be gone even faster.

Your latency comparison makes no sense because the bottleneck would be the uplink and downlink, not the communication between satellites. If they will use radio for that (based on the need for a dish) that won't ever compete with a connection physically close to a fiber node. Laser communication is unlikely because the atmosphere is in the way and it's way less reliable than fiber. I can see how this could be a game changer for rural internet access, but it can't ever compete with wired fiber optic connection without changing the laws of physics.

STARLINK IS GOING TO RUIN ALL EARTH BASED ASTRONOMY. THE 'CONSTELLATION' OF STARLINK SATELLITES IS ALREADY INTERFERING WITH IMAGES FROM EVERY TELESCOPE ON THE FACE OF THE EARTH. AFTER ELON FINISHES LITTERING THE NIGHT SKY WITH THOUSANDS PIECES OF REFLECTIVE GARBAGE YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO SEE ANY PLANETS OR STARS, AND OUR ABILITY TO OBSERVE THE COSMOS FROM EARTH WILL BE SEVERELY DAMAGED IF NOT RUINED COMPLETELY. There are already a few service providers using same principle covering U.K. Be aware that all these systems rely on line of sight. No signal direct to handset when indoors. And as with current offerings there will be a latency issue-so gamers need not apply. The signals must still travel up and down from orbit.
